Wii anticipation: the games edition [update 3]
It's officially less than one month 'til Wii-Day (eeee!), and that means it's time to start ramping up our excitement until it reaches levels of pain heretofore unknown in the annals of fanfolkosity. Or it could just mean that we kinda dig chatting about Nintendo. You decide. In the meantime, let's discuss games, as in the launch games, as in the launch games that round out everyone's very own top five. All the lists of late have us inspired. Bryn Williams at GameSpy put up a list of top five anticipated Wii games. From IGN, we get ten. We're gonna go with five -- it's more of a challenge.

On the one hand, it seems difficult to pick five favorites from the launch lineup. But then again, the same games continually get the most attention, so would there really be much variation when it comes to choosing the cream of the launch lineup crop?

Let's find out. We'll update throughout the day with the top five choices from the Wii Fanboy staff. Give us yours as well in the comments! Check after the jump for the lists.

Time to get down to some good ol' fashioned list-making. We're choosing the games that we're personally looking forward to most, seem most interesting, etc. And it'll be interesting to compare what we list today, as opposed to any games we listed when calculating potential Wii costs.
