Around Azeroth: Northern Tirisfal
Reader Cort of Whisperwind sends in this shot, taken while waiting in queue for Alterac Valley — before the cross-realm battlegrounds were implemented, this could be a lengthy wait. While waiting, Cort decided to see how long it would take to travel from Booty Bay to Tirisfal, and located these two tiny islands off the coast on the northern end of the zone. Yep, you're looking out over the end of Azeroth here, folks. (Is Azeroth round? If you swam out from this point would you eventually reach Booty Bay again? We may never know...)
