Collector's Edition pet for new characters only [Update]

Did you order the Burning Crusade: Collector's Edition in hopes of equipping your incredibly overpowered warlock main with a Netherwhelp pet? Tough luck. No problem!

According to Nethaera, the pet will only be available for newly created characters that you make after you purchase the Burning Crusade. While this isn't the worst news I have ever heard, and I have been hearing from a few sources that this was a possibility, it is a little disappointing.

Pets for everybody! Nethaera corrected herself in the thread, and all your characters will get access to the Netherwhelp! Great news!
