Some hope for druids & consumables

Blizzard can't seem to make up their mind regarding druids. First druids are able to use consumables and get weapon procs in forms in the beta client, then we're told it's a bug... and now? Now we're told that, while the implementation of this on the beta realms was a bug, the developers want druids to be able to use some consumables and some weapon procs in forms, and are in the process of evaluating which ones to allow. Of consumables under consideration, Vaneras of the EU forums mentions rage potions, healing potions, thistle tea, and healthstones. So perhaps it's early yet to give up all hope for the class — changes are still in progress.
