creators Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone are making moves to bring their role-playing gamebook series to DS and PSP. The book series was originally published from 1982 through 1995, enjoying a 59-volume run. In 2002, Wizard Books scooped up the rights to Fighting Fantasy and has made some efforts to revive its popularity.

Jackson and Livingstone are currently seeking out partners for the proposed video game series. This won't be the first attempt at expanding Fighting Fantasy's reach. In the mid-80s a slew of book-ports were released for the Commodore 64, Amstrad, BBC, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. More recently, Eidos published a version of Deathtrap Dungeon for PC and PlayStation (1).
