Commenting on TUAW gets easier as well

Today we announced our new spiffy search functionality, but that's not all! Astute readers noticed that our commenting system also received an overhaul and we are quite excited about it (well, as excited as one can get about these sorts of things).

During TUAW's commenting dark ages (i.e. any time before today) you would be emailed a link to click which served to verify your comment. Recently these emails also contained a password and a promise that if you logged in with said password you would never have to verify your comments again. Sadly, this functionality wasn't fully implemented which lead to many a frustrated user. Now 'current users' can enter their email address and password (which you should get in your first comment as a new user) and never have to worry about verifying their comments again. Rejoice, and let the comments flow freely.
