Envisioning Global Change: Seeing the Facts

In addition to being a big fan of Macs and Star Trek, I am something of a science buff. Therefore, I am always glad to hear about scientists using Macs to help make the world a better place (through science!). Imagine my excitement when I saw that Apple, in association with the American Museum of Natural History, is hosting a Pro Session called Envisioning Global Change: Seeing the Facts at select Apple Stores.

Ned Gardiner and Arlene Ducao present some HD visualizations of research which illustrates global changes in climate which they produce using Macs.

Sadly for me the first was held on the 7th in SoHo (the closest of the three to me), however, there are two more sessions scheduled:

• Feb. 28th at 7pm in the Apple Store San Francisco
• March 7th at 7pm in the Apple Store North Michigan Avenue
