Forum post of the day: The Department of WoW Redundancy Department

We've already talked about how monsters never seem to have their livers, blood, or heads when you most need them to, but Greenhorn of Llane has noticed that WoW allows you to do many redundant or nonsensical things. Among the examples:

  • Enraged Crushers can become enraged.
  • You can drain the soul of a Soulless Ghoul.
  • Fade fades from you.
  • You can wield the Big-Boar Battle Rifle of the Boar.
  • Apparently, a number of characters named "You" have caused some very, very confusing loot rolls.
  • The old warrior error message, "Target too close. You are too far away."
  • Gibbering ghouls can be silenced.
  • Trees of life can be rooted.
