Expect lots of Apple/Google collaboration

I've got to say I loooove Google. My Gmail account is great, as is Google Reader, Picasa* and my Picasa web albums, Gcal and so on.

To those who have complained that Google ignores Mac users, we say that's about to change. Google chief executive Eric Schmidt stated on Monday that the two companies will be "..."doing more and more things together. We have similar goals, similar competitors."

So the Google maps features of the iPhone are only the beginning? Sweet.

*Ok, so technically Picasa is running on my Linux box. Do I lose Mac cred?
