US Music
US: Beautiful Disaster by Jon McLaughlin
Not to be confused with famed fusion guitarist John McLaughlin, this Jon McLaughlin is a young singer/piano player from Indiana. His major label debut is set to come out in early spring and "Beautiful Disaster" is the first taste of what's likely to be a successful pop career. Intertwining bold, dramatic strings around his own fluid piano work and a steady rock backbeat, this is our free Single of the Week.
US: Cosculluela, Eddie Dee, Tego Calderon & Zion by Easy
Here's a collective effort from some of the biggest names in reggaeton – including Zion, Tego Calderón, Eddie Dee, and Cosculluela. Verses and vocalists interchange smoothly here while the rhythm is kept with some thick synthesizer pulses and streamlined bass kicks. The gunshots ring out to remind you that these guys mean business. Another solid cut from Machete Music.

Taken from Inspired By...The Bible Experience, you will hear Blair Underwood as Jesus, Cuba Gooding Jr. as Judas, and many other leading celebrities bring to life the drama of the last days of Jesus, his sacrificial death, and triumphant resurrection.

This is a free excerpt. Rejection has never been so hilarious! After her role in a Woody Allen play was "rethought", actress Annabelle Gurwitch (TBS' Dinner and a Movie) was devastated. But then she got funny. Gurwitch and a revolving cast of fellow show-biz veterans share their stories in L.A. Theatre Works' Fired: Tales of Jobs Gone Bad.

2007 MLB.COM SEASON PREVIEW
"The beauty of Major League Baseball is that nothing is guaranteed heading into a season," host Peter McCarthy says in the MLB.com 2007 Season Preview. Indeed, we are now in an era where the unexpected is expected – where St. Louis just won a World Series despite only 83 regular season victories, where the White Sox and Red Sox have ended long droughts, where anything's possible. Each club is a contender now and we'll look at all 30, division by division. This show is loaded with highlights, exclusive interviews, and analysis. Is it the Cubs' turn? Will A-Rod be happy? Who's going to shock us next? It's the Year of the Milestone with Barry Bonds only 24 homers away from Hank Aaron and with Craig Biggio and Tom Glavine about to get their 3,000th hit and 300th win, respectively. America's favorite pastime is back. Be ready.
US: Mind Explosion by Human Giant
A half-hour of hilarious short comedy films starring Aziz Ansari, Rob Huebel, and Paul Scheer. This season features a love triangle with a killer whale, a mosh pit that breaks loose from a concert and goes on a killer rampage, a psychotic astronaut who hunts men on the moon, ex-girlfriends sent to wander in a corn maze, a genie who runs a crystal meth lab out of his magic lamp, a morning zoo show that continues after a nuclear holocaust, and robotic vacuums that take over the world . . . all in the pursuit of some good old fashioned fun.
US: Spotlight 25 (Frepeat)
What do today's 25-year-old women have to say about life, love, sex and trying to have it all? International
Australia: When We All Lost It by The Vasco Era
The Vasco Era burst onto the local music scene via a wildcard slot at the Falls Festival a couple of years ago and has never looked back. Triple J instantly embraced the group and Vasco Era's live performances have introduced the band's ragged, razor-sharp punk/hard rock hybrid to the masses. "When We All Lost It" is the first taste from the full-length album scheduled for release shortly, and it's also our free Single of the Week.
New Zealand: When We All Lost It by The Vasco Era
The Vasco Era burst onto the local music scene via a wildcard slot at the Falls Festival a couple of years ago and has never looked back. Triple J instantly embraced the group and Vasco Era's live performances have introduced the band's ragged, razor-sharp punk/hard rock hybrid to the masses. "When We All Lost It" is the first taste from the full-length album scheduled for release shortly, and it's also our free Single of the Week.
Canada: To the East by Electrelane
Bands rarely come much cooler than Electrelane, four English girls whose musical influences are taken from krautrock, Stereolab, and the Velvet Underground tunes sung by Maureen Tucker. "To the East" is a pulsating pop drone with crooked edges. A little bit off-key, a little loud and sugary; this is a shuffling indie pop glory made by people who seem intent on sharing the benefits of having a great record collection. It's also our free Single of the Week.
France: Everybody's Got Their Own Part to Play by Shannon Wright
" Everybody's Got Their Own Part to Play " est notre Single de la semaine.
UK: Cler Achel by Tinariwen
Tinariwen is a group of musicians and Tuareg rebels from North Africa who started playing together in the mid-'80s. Their style involves some of the indigenous rhythms and instruments of the region, but they also use an electric guitar, which give the music a tinge of the blues. Picture a meeting of Ali Farka Toure and John Lee Hooker. "Cler Achel" is our riveting Single of the Week.
