Nokia 2610 officially available from AT&T

If you've been itching for a new entry-level Nokia handset for that low-tech relative or even as a backup phone, consider yourself served: AT&T is now carrying the Nokia 2160 for a mere $20 on contract as a replacement to the aging 6030. The 2160 has a CSTN screen, US dual-band GSM (850 / 1900), 2MB of memory and Class 6 GPRS. In other words, it's kinda a lowly phone with nothing to get exited about past being a voice device -- but it may just fit your bill if the need arises. What's with the Cingular branding though, AT&T? Isn't it time to move on?
