iTunes: Free Monday

Three new free videos popped up over the weekend while I was away in Nebraska. Those of you with US iTunes accounts can download the premiere episode of Shear Genius (which is, sadly, not nearly as good as Project Runway), a special mythology roundup for Stargate SG-1 and the Brandi Carlile Grey's Anatomy video.

In other news, I've been hoping for Showtime's "Dexter" and "Tudors" series to show up on iTunes. No luck so far but I did run across both a free Dexter podcast and a free but macabre Dexter video collection. These look pretty spoiler-y so you might only want to download these materials if you've already had the opportunity to watch the show when it first aired.

Links and show descriptions after the jump.

US: Shear Genius Premiere Episode 101
It's lather, rinse. . . compete! when 12 of the country's most promising hairstylists cut, dye and straighten their way to the top in BRAVO 's new competition reality series, Shear Genius. Award-winning actress and style icon Jaclyn Smith hosts while lead judge Sally Hershberger (celebrity hairstylist), and judge Michael Carl (Fashion Editor, Allure), will decide who's having a bad hair day and who will make the final cut. To win the title of Shear Genius and prizes including $100,000 to start their own salon, the stylists go head to head in creative challenges ranging from mastering the most difficult cuts to managing the most difficult clients.

US: Stargate SG-1: Behind the Mythology of Stargate SG-1
As the team embarks upon its tenth year, Vala (Claudia Black), a former Goa'uld host turned freedom-fighter, joins SG-1 in their battle to defend the galaxy from the holy war of the Ori. Having discovered the existence of a weapon capable of defeating the Ori, the team is now in a race against time to find it before more systems fall to the influence of the Priors and the threat of the newly arrived Origin fleet.

US: Grey's Anatomy" Brandi Carlile Video
The doctors of Seattle Grace Hospital return for a third season of love and laughter, triumph and loss, dreams and McDreamy. The sharp, witty writing and hot-blooded characters make this show addictive. Seriously. Be a part of every moment with a season pass to the drama that proves you can have a life even while you're trying to save them.
