Apple posts Q2 2007 earnings
Things are looking good for our favorite fruit company. Apple today stated that they shipped a whopping 1,517,000 Macs and a staggering 10,549,000 iPods during the second quarter of 2007. This represents an increase of 36% for Macs and 24% increase in iPod sales (who is buying all these iPods?). This translates to a revenue of $5.26 billion and a net profit of $770 million, or $.87 per diluted share.
