SEC will not file charges against Apple
The New York Times is reporting that the Securities and Exchange Commission will not file charges against Apple, Inc. in regard to the backdating scandal. This is good news for Apple as a company, but Fred Andersen and Nancy Heinan aren't in the clear. Also not in the clear? Everyone's favorite iCEO, Steven P. Jobs. The Times says that the government usually goes after easy wins in cases like these and the evidence just isn't there for a quick resolution against Jobs.
