Like any good company, Blizzard nurtures publicity, with preview trailers, special countdown pages on their website, and even announcements that they are going to announce something.

Some human beings around the world read about all the previews they can get their eyes on, search all over the Internet for new information, crave for the slightest tidbit of fact or even rumor, and discuss at length with their friends about their speculations on what the announcement means for them, how it will turn out, and even what future announcements might be. Others, of course, live out their natural lives thinking Blizzard is just a very bad snow storm.
