VC Monday Madness video wrap-up 6/18/07

It's been another week where Nintendo honors their promise and gives us more Virtual Console games to play. Even though we may not find the offerings to be that great, we know some of you are inclined to disagree. Well, there's no better place to do it than here in this post! So, head past the break for some more info and let the comments fly!

Bloody Wolf (TurboGrafx-16, 1 player, 600 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: we can't decide!

Bloody Wolf is like some kind of half-breed being, both good and evil. Good in that it's awesome to rip it up on a motorcycle and mow down tons of enemies and bad in that ... it's awesome to rip it up on a motorcycle and mow down tons of enemies. Our psychiatrist says we may have issues, but he's just a jerk. There's lots of fun to be had in the mindless slaughter industry.

NES Open Tournament Golf (NES, 1-2 players, 500 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: do not download!

We don't like NES Open Tour Golf. Not that the game wasn't groundbreaking back in the day, but golf games have come a long way since this title graced a retail shelf. For $5 bucks, we can't really recommend this to anyone unless they have fond memories of the title from the past or just want their golf games to be just about as simplistic as possible.

World Sports Competition (TurboGrafx-16, 1-5 players, 600 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: do not download!

We can't honestly say this game should be downloaded, even though it offers up a plethora of different Olympic sports for you to compete in. The sports themselves are usually on the extreme side of each spectrum; either a sport is way to easy to excel in or so difficult as to cause you to entertain thoughts of homicide. Please, don't go to prison over a mere 6 bucks. Leave this one be.

As always, if you have any tips or rumors regarding Nintendo's Virtual Console service, be sure to let us know and come back next week when we take a look at the latest titles available on the Nintendo Wii.
