Yesterday in Second Life there was:

• 16,553 new signups bringing the total to 11,483,216 signups.
• A peak concurrency of 52,973 at 1:50PM, and a minimum concurrency of 29,161 at 1:35AM. Median concurrency for the day was 40,911.
• The Grid Stability Index for the day was 1.64 (lower is better).
• Some rocky times with not just one, but two brief failures of login systems during the day.
• A major update to Havok on the beta grid. More about that when we can figure out what's going on.
• Moo treated us to a video on Plant Pets.
• Linden Lab released not one but two months of key metrics in one go. We've got the results summarized and humanized for you.
• Linden Lab also released new account statements, making it easier for you to handle your RL business reporting and taxes.
