Yesterday in Second Life there was:
15,520 new signups bringing the total to 11,771,829 signups.
A peak concurrency of 57,246 at 2:35PM, and a minimum concurrency of 30,062 at 1:15AM. Median concurrency for the day was 45,713.
The Grid Stability Index for the day was 1.54 (lower is better).
Thursday's troubles were finally sorted out after 2AM.
Another short round of what appear to be asset-related troubles during the late morning.
A grid shutdown was announced for next Wednesday to (apparently) correct the problems caused by the update last Wednesday, based on the information made available.
Linden Lab sent us an unsolicited statement on fraudulent funds griefing (which actually didn't cover the topic), and then another one which does, but may be at odds with the experience of residents who have been victims of this practice in the past.
