The end of one day and the beginning of another

Yesterday in Second Life there was:

  • 16,213 new signups bringing the total to 11,949,714 signups.

  • A peak concurrency of 57,215 at 1:55PM, and a minimum concurrency of 31,259 at 1:15AM. Median concurrency for the day was 43,043.

  • The Grid Stability Index for the day was 1.27 (lower is better).

  • High concurrency and relatively smooth performance through the day. Hopefully this trend will continue.

  • A new release candidate viewer, 1.18.6(RC4) was released.

  • Median signup rates remain relatively steady at 55 days per million. The 12 millionth signup is due roughly on the Friday the 18th.
