Yesterday in Second Life: Second Life Daily News
Yesterday in Second Life there was:
- 16,419 new signups bringing the total to 12,187,234 signups.
- A peak concurrency of 56,690 at 2:15PM, and a minimum concurrency of 31,700 at 1:15AM. Median concurrency for the day was 43,101.
- The Grid Stability Index for the day was 3.14 (lower is better).
- The planned system update went very poorly yesterday, impacting systems and logins for thousands of users, and apparently also bollixing the Support Portal later on. The rolling restart that was supposed to go ahead will now go ahead this-afternoon instead.
- The Second Skin trailer is out at last.
- Mono has launched on the beta grid. Scripters will almost certainly want to check it out.
Below is the day's concurrency graphed for yesterday (left), and the corresponding day from the previous week (right)
