Yesterday in Second Life there was:
- 14,520 new signups bringing the total to 12,638,937 signups.
- A peak concurrency of 58,587 at 1:55PM, and a minimum concurrency of 33,308 at 1:05AM. Median concurrency for the day was 45,530.
- The Grid Stability Index for the day was 1.05 (lower is better).
- At approximately 11:30PM the group chat servers were restarted to correct some bugs, but little disruption apparently resulted from the switch.
- Live chat through the Support Portal was problematic through much of the day.
- Approximately 2,000 regions were updated with software to support 1.19.1 – so far with better results.
- The Second Life website had troubles of its own.
- Apart from all that, and a few asset server glitches and third-party Internet problems that are causing login difficulties for many users, things were quite smooth.
- The 1.19.0 release candidate was released as the official viewer.
