• The Grid Stability Index for the day was 1.25 (lower is better).
• Linden Lab announced a serious potential exploit in Thursday's new viewer and rushed out a new version, locking the problematic 1.19.0(4) out of the grid.
• Circuit City relaunched in Second Life, vastly increasing their commitment in the synthetic world, and giving away iPods.
• RealXtend announced the release of version 0.2 of their software, featuring avatar portability.
• Database issues impacted searching for users, and displaying transaction histories. These problems apparently coincided with login difficulties and asset troubles.
