'Gusty Gardens' goes 8-bit, and then some

Not only is Super Mario Galaxy an excellent game, but it also sports an amazing orchestrated soundtrack. Many fans of Mario's most recent adventure have become so inspired by the soundtrack that they've already contributed their own interpretations of the game's music. Take, for instance the awesome 8-bit version of "Gusty Garden Galaxy" featured in the video above.

If you want to hear some more great Super Mario Galaxy fan mixes, though, we highly recommend this amazing guitar arrangement of "Gusty Garden" by 4CR forum user Pakl. He also did a unique (and very soothing) version of "New Egg Galaxy," which you can listen to here. We're always in awe when musicians can figure out arrangements for existing songs by ear — an impressive feat, no doubt.
