Yesterday in Second Life there was:

  • 13,803 new signups bringing the total to 12,775,034 signups.
  • A peak concurrency of 62,843 at 2:40PM, and a minimum concurrency of 34,275 at 11:55PM. Median concurrency for the day was 49,501.
  • The Grid Stability Index for the day was 1.22 (lower is better).
  • The grid started operating in low-grade misery mode late on Saturday night, which continued throughout most of the day Sunday. Early Sunday morning, there were teleport failures and asset servers stopped dishing out animations for furniture for about an hour. Later in the day, transaction problems, asset and intra-grid communications issues (and the failure of the events posting web-page during the evening).
