Yesterday in Second Life there was:
- 11,014 new signups bringing the total to 12,826,167 signups.
- A peak concurrency of 59,655 at 2:50PM, and a minimum concurrency of 31,667 at 1:15AM. Median concurrency for the day was 45,506.
- The Grid Stability Index for the day was 1.24 (lower is better).
- At approximately 10PM the asset system apparently suffered a major failure causing gridwide problems. Difficulties ran for over half an hour, and many users also complained of network and transaction problems during this period. This is in addition to database problems earlier in the evening.
- It's time for the Luna Oaks/Busy Ben lottery again.
- An update to the Second Life website was problematic and is being rolled back, as it contained other site modifications that were not yet complete.
- The Mono runtime was updated on the beta grid with another slew of bugfixes.
