- The Grid Stability Index for the day was 1.12 (lower is better).
- China Tracy has either sold an art installation (or gotten one funded) to the tune of US$100,000 (although some sources are reporting 100,000 Euros). The available information is a bit contradictory.
- This is almost completely overshadowed by the big news – that Philip Rosedale will be resigning as CEO and becoming chairman of Linden Lab as soon as a replacement CEO is appointed.
- Linden Lab is seeking to buy avatars for new users from a variety of content-creators.
