New Second Life release candidate viewer: 1.19.1(RC4)

Linden Lab has released a new 1.19.1 Second Life release candidate viewer, 1.19.1(RC4), fifth in the 1.19.1 series (release candidates start counting from zero, rather than from one).

Released on a Saturday. We know. Looks like someone's pushing for an official release early next week. In fact, Linden Lab says they're hoping this is the last release candidate for this series.

Listed changes for this release:

  • Fixed a bug causing the viewer to update the wrong parcel.
  • Revert name of "Local Chat(history)" tab to "Local Chat"
  • Removed confusing "Start in Push-to-Talk mode" preference.
  • JA, KO, DE localizations are truncated on Preferences>Graphics tab> Run in a window descriptor
  • Commit JA,KO,DE localization changes to accommodate truncations
  • Updated Mozilla libraries

Release candidate viewers access your live account on the main Second Life grid (Agni). Potentially they may cause hair-loss in pets, and should be always be kept out of reach of children. The downloads are served by Amazon's S3 service and we use and recommend the use of a download manager to keep your download times to a minimum.

You can download this viewer from the usual place. The download for Windows is 35MB, Mac OSX is 73MB, and Linux is 55MB.
