MMOG Podcast Roundup: June 1st - June 6th

Every week, hardworking Massive gaming fans put their voices on the line to bring us news, opinions, and 'critiques' of their favorite games. Podcasts are a staple of many hobbies nowadays, and fans of online worlds are especially fortunate in this regard ... there are a ton out there.

As such, every so often we'll try to update you on the podcasting world. Keep your eyes on this space for links to your favorite MMO-commentary celebs. Good and bad, straight-man or blue-mouthed, they all have something to offer about this amazing style of gameplay.

With all the Warhammer news on the site this week, I thought it might be good to highlight a topical newcomer to the podcasting scene. Though we mourn the hiatus of Warhamma, The Greenskin's ChaosCast is a welcome addition to MMO podcasting community. Blogging wunderkins Keen, Syp, and Snafzg got together for a thoroughly enjoyable hour of Waagh!-related discussion. Make sure to check them out, and read on for the full week's update.

  • Massively Speaking: Episode 8. War and dungeons are the order of the day as the usual suspects are joined by Mike Schramm and Cameron Sorden. DDO Module 7 and the Massively goes to WAR feature series get our full attention.

  • WoW Insider Show: Episode 40. Sean Connery? What are you doing on everyone's favorite World of Warcraft podcast? You Scottish scamp! Join Sean, Turpster, Daniel Whitcom, BBB, and Mike Schramm for talk of soloing Onyxia and killing Kil'jaeden.

  • ChaosCast: Episode 1. Syp, Keen, and Snafzg get together to kick off an all-star podcast about Warhammer Online.
  • Channel Massive: Episode 44. That group of MMO misfits chats about M59 pirates, crafting in WAR, and (why not?) there is some discussion of tits.
  • DDOCast: Episode 70. Alex Haddox joins the crew for talk of the just-released Module 7 content.
  • Pet Food Alpha: Episode 103. Leveling a BST can be such a drag; find out how to beat the grind, plus discussion of the ill-used Garrison gameplay feature.
  • Star Wars Galaxies with Yivvits and Mr. Bubble: Episode 96. Wookies as mountable pets? That doesn't sound right. Yoda stops by, and they read some listener mail ... so that has to be good?
