  • 10,453 new signups bringing the total to 14,053,619 signups.
  • A peak concurrency of 60,867 at 2:20PM, and a minimum concurrency of 24,541 at 2:25AM. Median concurrency for the day was 48,080.

The Grid Stability Index for the day was 2.30 (lower is better). A poor day with multiple failures. The usual early-morning instability that starts at Midnight, was followed by unexpected third-party network maintenance which caused trouble for "a handful" of users. That handful was roughly 10,000 or so or close to 30% of the total logged in. Just after Noon, the rubber-band broke on the asset and transaction systems, causing an additional 30-40 minutes of grid-wide turmoil.

Below is the day's concurrency graphed for yesterday (left), and the corresponding day from the previous week (right)

Recent users reported by Linden Lab (that is, users who have logged in at least once within the last 60 days) is 1,194,960. Linden Lab last updated this figure on 19 Jun 2008 at 23:59.
