WoW player's guide to GW: Graphics and Style

To most people, comparing Guild Wars graphics to WoW graphics is apples and oranges. While the stylized animation and art of WoW has been called "too cartoony" by many gamers, it's a style that has been with the series since the beginnings of the Warcraft world when it was still a single-player game. It's just their thing, it's how they roll.

On the other hand, GW developers went for a more realistic feel, making it one of the most gorgeous and immersive games in that respect. The character models, environments, spell effects, items and armor design are not only amazing by today's standards, but just consider the fact that all of this was created more than three years ago and it will run on machines that are several years old with no problems.
