LotRO Fall Festival guide: Gaining more festival tokens

So by this time you've grabbed all four festival masks, you've won the horse race and received your horse token, you have your eye on some exclusive Fall Harvest Festival goodies for your home, but you're not sure exactly how to get all those Fall Festival tokens you'll need to finish off the prizes! Unlike the Summer Festival, there is no simple fishing tournament to gain potentially loads of tokens in one spot. With the Fall Festival, you'll need to participate in the simple pick-and-trade events held in Thorin's Hall, Bree-land, Hobbiton and Duillond.

Bree-land Pumpkin Patch
Located in the Bree-land festival grounds, you'll find a small patch of pumpkins, ready to pick. Right-clicking on this patch will gain you one of three various sizes of pumpkin: small, medium or large. Once you trade your pumpkin in to the Games-Master located beside the patch, you will get one of the following

  • Small Pumpkin – 1 Fall Festival Token
  • Medium Pumpkin – 2 Fall Festival Tokens
  • Large Pumpkin – 3 Fall Festival Tokens

Once you gather enough of these festival tokens, you can trade them in to the Fall Festival barter NPC for the items you see below. Everything listed is a housing decoration except for the Guide to the Cowbell, which basically allows any character of any class to use the Cowbell instrument. This not only applies to the Bree-land festival, but all other festivals around Middle-earth.

Thorin's Hall Geode Box
This box is located in the underground tavern area of Thorin's Hall, near the Dance Master. You simply open the box to grab a geode for the Games Master.

  • Cracked Geode – 1 Fall Festival Token
  • Pristine Geode – 2 Fall Festival Tokens
  • Faultless Geode – 3 Fall Festival Tokens

Duillond Scroll Chest
Located within the Duillond festival area, you'll see the Games Master Malenfas. Opening his scroll chest will reveal one of the following items, to trade for tokens:

  • Unimpressive Scroll – 1 Fall Festival Token
  • Well-Written Scroll – 2 Fall Festival Tokens
  • Elegant Scroll – 3 Fall Festival Tokens

Hobbiton Apple Tubs
Located under the Party Tree, Sawlo Puddifoot the Games Master has some apple tubs for your apple-bobbing pleasure.

  • Small Apple – 1 Fall Festival Token
  • Medium Apple – 2 Fall Festival Tokens
  • Large Apple – 3 Fall Festival Tokens

Each of these events has a 1-hour cool-down timer, which is conveniently shown under your character's morale and power bars. Theoretically, you could easily perform the pick-up quests for all four of these areas within an hour, including travel times. If you're a Hunter or lucky enough to know one, you could be ported around in even less time. Given the fact that this festival lasts until October 13, you should have plenty of time to grab the 95+ tokens needed to trade for one of everything! Now if you have multiple characters, houses or accounts, that's a different story.
