Massively in Moria: Book 1, Chapters 11-14

Chapter 11
So now you have your new mighty weapon in hand, but Wafi needs to be assured that you know how to use it. Before he can instruct you further, he asks that you achieve the tenth level of advancement with your new toy. This part can seem a bit grindy, as you're basically killing mobs over and over again to get that tenth level of item XP. We imagine that Turbine did this to let players get accustomed to their new weapon, but the grind backlash will be inevitable.

Chapter 12
Once your weapon dings level ten, you return to Wafi (or the equivalent NPC in Rivendell). He'll ask you to talk to the Forge-master located to his left to reforge the weapon. Again, you'll need to pay close attention to the instructions, as this is your introduction to the reforging process. Of course, we at Massively will have more extensive features describing the Legendary Item system in the coming weeks.

Chapter 13
Once you've allocated the proper relics and legacies to your new weapon, return to Rathwald so he will allow you back into the Dwarven camp. You'll then enter another instance traveling back to face the Watcher in the Water; this time aptly prepared. After a few minutes of battle with giant tentacles and plenty of tossed Dwarves, the creature retreats to its watery home, finally allowing access to the mines. Of course, you'll need to talk to Rathwald once more when the instance ends, but he will give you some valuable rewards and introduce you to Chapter 14, which will finally get you into the Mines of Moria.

Chapter 14
Khazad-dum at last! You've now arrived at Durin's Threshold where you face Tulk once again. Once you turn in Chapter 14 to him, he'll give you the Foreward for Book 2.

Feel free to explore a bit from here and take advantage of the multiple quest branches available. From here on out is where the real meat of the expansion begins, while Book 1 could be considered an intro to the story and the Legendary Item system.
