Massively in Moria: Book 1, Chapters 6-10

Chapter 6
While Bosi's Dwarves are working hard on making new pickaxes, he sends you off to speak with his cousin, Brogur, who is located along the north road.

Chapter 7
Brogur then tells you a tale of the wolf threat in the area, and how his workers are afraid of their increasing encroachment. As with Bosi's son Bori, Brogur's son Broin was also sent out on a task that he never completed. It's up to you to help Broin with his task and slay three Shadow-wolves just south of the dried river bed where the crebain and sharpened stones lie. In addition to this, Brogur has also asked you to find the source of the wolves' madness, which involves a burned wolf corpse you'll find a bit south of where the wolves are located. Return to Broin and inform him that you cleared some wolves out of the area, and then talk to Bosi again for your reward.

Chapter 8
This chapter is a pivotal time in the book as it's your first instanced encounter. Now that the new pickaxes have been crafted, Bosi will ask that you travel with him to the Doors of Durin (aka Hollin Gate) to deliver them. After defending him from some wolves along the way, you'll soon arrive at the gate, place the pickaxes in a crate and have the honor of breaking apart the last two pieces of rubble before the door is accessible. But along the way, you notice an unrest in the Dwarven workers. Some say they've heard something in the water, as others are throwing rocks to see if they can stir up whatever it is they think they saw. Warr will ask you to scold the rock-throwing Dwarves, as the tension builds for what lies beneath the water's swampy surface.

When Bosi begins to give his speech proclaiming Dwarven victory over the newly-cleared doorway, the game's mood dramatically changes and a cinematic begins. Long tentacles reach out of the water and snatch Broin before anyone can react. Yet instead of staying to fight, Bosi orders you to return to camp as quickly as you can to retreat and regroup. Once you're back to the safety of the small camp area, Bosi will brief you on what needs to be done next. As the Watcher in the Water's might is obviously too great for the small party of workers to contend with, Bosi tells you to return to Eregion and talk to Rathwald once again for instructions on obtaining a weapon powerful enough to defeat the Watcher in the Water. This is your introduction to the Legendary Weapon system.

Chapter 9
Back to the safety of Eregion, Rathwald informs you that he will not allow you to re-enter the area until you talk to Hundi, who will help you obtain a weapon powerful enough to defeat the Watcher.

Chapter 10
Hundi tells you that you must seek out a gifted craftsman in Thorin's Hall by the name of Wafi. He will be able to help you in your search for a Legendary Weapon. Wafi is located near the Superior Forges on the eastern side of Thorin's Hall. It would be wise to follow all instructions given by Wafi, because this is how you'll learn about Legendary Weapons. He'll give you the weapon, then ask you to talk to the Forge Master standing beside him to identify the weapon's powers and relics. You'll then equip the weapon as he instructs you further on its powers and advancement system.
