One Shots: The writing is on the wall

Players logging in and heading to Northrend in World of Warcraft for their first taste of adventure have been reporting back with some marvelous sights. Today's example of Northrend architecture sent in to us by Vlatch of the Kargath server (US) is one such example of some of the things we've seen coming from the MMO that Blizzard built. Vlatch writes in: [This] screenshot is from the opening area in Howling Fjord in World of Warcraft's newest expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. I was traveling in on my first day in the new lands, and this was one of the first sights that caught my attention (I was still riding in on the boat no less). This is an image of Valgarde/Utgarde. While it's a bit of a run from the Horde starting area (assuming you head to Northrend from Undercity, that is) it is just as impressive the first time you catch sight of this area from the cliffs. As for today's title, Vlatch suggested it, so we'll see if he pops in on comments and wants to tell us about the inspiration!

We know there are lots of you out there reading, and we're betting that at least some of you are playing/have played MMOs. As such – hey, we need some great MMO screenshots from you! So while you're catching some game time, or digging through old screenshots folders, grab some and send them to us. Our email address is oneshots AT massively DOT com – include your name, game, server, and a brief description of what's in the image. (Please, turn your UI off if possible.) Without your screenshots, we're left to dig through staff screenshot folders, and that can be a scary, scary place. You wouldn't want to do that to us, would you?
