Know Your LotRO Lore: Final Thoughts on Men
The Men of Middle-earth have a deeper destiny and sense of accomplishment than any other race in Tolkien's works because of their mortality. As Middle-earth's history is to be taken as an actual chunk from our own pre-history, Tolkien's depiction of Man is a testament to our own strengths and weaknesses. This concludes our series of lore segments regarding the Free People races of Middle-earth as we move on to other aspects of the story. Next week we will switch back to the evil side of the fence, tackling the origins of the Orcs. We've alluded to their origins in previous articles, but now we'll explain them in greater detail. As is often our goal here, we will present the information in a way that is understandable to both new players and lore-buffs alike.
