Mythic to launch official forums with patch 1.2

What once seemed like an impossibility will soon become a reality: Mythic is launching their official Warhammer Online forums next week. At one point in time, the company was dead set against the idea of official forums for various reasons, but since Christmas they have warmed up to the idea. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Mythic put together a primer titled, Official Warhammer Online Forums and You!

To sign into these forums all you need to do is use your in-game user name and password and soon you will be able to choose a board profile tied to any of your characters to show off your career, rank, renown rank, etc. Not only will these forums be a centralized place to discuss everything Warhammer; you'll also have direct access to the development team. Mythic also officially announced their WAR Oracle Program, which will give in-game and out-of-game rewards to board members who constructively add to the discussion and/or provide a wealth of knowledge to the community. UI modders can even join the Mod Squad. The forums are currently only open to those with an active WAR subscription, but anyone should be able to view them starting next week when they drop the 1.2 patch.
