Free Realms community establish own forum in lieu of official home

Free Realms is doing a lot of things right in order to emerge as a strong free-to-play option in the MMO market, except for offering interested potential players an official forum to gather around. A strong community goes a long way to creating a steady subscription (or paying member) base, which in turn creates steady revenue. And even though a good portion of the game is going to be free, money still needs to be made.

This situation is exacerbated by the fact that, well, open beta is just around the corner. So with all that in consideration, we're confident that SOE has plans for an official forum at launch — especially since they've got 'em for all other titles. But for now, Free Realms' community is excited enough to establish their own forums.
