The Joystiq team has been divided into two groups: those who went to GDC09 and those who didn't. As such, Alexander is far too busy being busy to get to WRUP this week, so I'm guest-hosting. It's okay, we won't tell him how much better I am at this. We'll just keep that between ourselves, mmkay?

Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): I'm playing "Write everything you couldn't at GDC because your MacBook Pro is a worthless piece of garbage." I did receive Valkyria Chronicles from a buddy here at the convention (who doesn't work for Sega), so hopefully I'll get a little time with that.
- Andrew Yoon: I just tossed in the Ultimate Genesis Collection. Wow, I forgot how bad most of these games were.
- Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): After a bout with Metal Gear Solid 4 this week, I'm more determined than ever to finish it (read as: marginally). I'm also hoping to get some more quality time in with Uncharted, the game most recently competing with PixelJunk Eden for "best game I've played on the PlayStation 3."
- Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): Narfling the Garthok
- David Hinkle (@davehinkle): So, uh, they fixed Gears of War 2, huh? I'll probably play that a lot (it feels so much like Gears 1 now, I love it!). Oh, and GTA: Chinatown Wars. I have to eventually go get fit for a tux for a friend's wedding, so who knows if I'll be able to get to that between teh gamming.

- Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): All-catching within the endless expanse of Pokemon Platinum, as I likely will be for the next six or seven years.
- James Ransom-Wiley: I just splurged (a whopping $20!) on a bunch of the IGF-winning (and nominated) iPhone games: Fieldrunners, Zen Bound, Frenzic, Eliss, Dizzy Bee, Radio Flare, Galcon — and the Free Smiles demo. If you've got the hardware, I suggest you do the same — I'm finally startin' to believe in "mobile" gaming — and do it quick. Most of these games are on sale this week only!
- Jason Dobson (@eToyChest): Suikoden Tierkreis continues to drain my hit points, leaving me reaching for whatever alcoholic potion I have left in the cabinet.
- Jem Alexander (@Yembles): It's crunch time at uni so I'll be hunkered down with 3D Studio Max and Photoshop for the next week or so. PC gamers should check them both out. Fun stuff
- JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): The Wii storage stuff never really bothered me, but I must admit I'm thrilled to have Space Invaders Get Even more easily accessible. I'll probably be playing that when I'm not dying repeatedly in the first level of Star Force.
- Justin McElroy (@JustinMcElroy): I'm hoping that the review code for Wanted will be waiting for my upon my return. But I'm mainly going to be celebrating my wife Sydnee's birthday, which I missed because I'm at GDC and an awful person.
- Kevin Kelly (@gadgetguy): I'm play "sleep" and "catch up on writing" and Fieldrunners, thanks to GDC. Also hoping to get back into Fable 2 and Fallout 3. Mainly because I'm looking for a new addiction.
- Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): I'll be playing Resident Evil 5: The Mercenaries until I'm utterly sick of it. That might take a while, so that leaves scant time for MadWorld ...
- Majed Athab: More RE5, some Broken Sword: Director's Cut (because I never got to finish it back in the day ... the load times were terrible!) and a bit of Gomibako.
- Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin): I'm headed for The Pitt. Wish me luck. I hear it's ... the pits. Sorry, folks. How about I make it up by speaking glowingly of the Wii SD Card Menu? It's like the best thing ever. I am going to be playing so much more VC and WiiWare. Thanks, Nintendo!
- Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM): Still upgrading weapons and marveling at stupid AI in Resident Evil 5. Maybe some achievement hunting in Halo Wars. If there's time, Chrono Trigger.
- Xav de Matos (@Xav): I'm gonna go blaze fools (Read: Peel caps back!) in 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand this weekend.
