WRUP: Looking for group!

It's tough to be looking for a group over here at Massively HQ (which is not, as you may imagine, a castle in the sky). It's not that we don't enjoy gaming together — it's that with the variety of games out on the market, you'll almost never find two of us playing the same thing at the same time. Until we can play with our Free Realms characters in Team Fortress 2 or bring our ships from EVE Online into City of Heroes, we'll have to cope with the dreaded LFG.

Coping mechanisms aside, read on to find out what we're playing this weekend — and to tell us what you're up to in-game!

  • Brooke Pilley: First softball tournament of the year this weekend!
  • Colin Brennan (@sera_brennan): First, tonight is 1 vs. 100 Live, where I get to go and trivia people into the ground for fun and profit. Then, Saturday is dedicated to the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, as I get to be an evil Sith apprentice. Afterwards, perhaps some Final Fantasy XI static partying before it all wraps up on Sunday with Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition.
  • Krystalle Voecks (@krystalle): As I just had surgery on my right wrist, I will be taking it relatively easy this weekend. I'll either be spending time playing Neo Steam for First impressions, or playing a couple of other non-mmos I have on my desk to review.
  • James Egan (@jamesegan): I'll spend some time in a certain beta, and the rest of my game time this weekend will be a mix of EVE and TF2.
  • Kyle Horner (@kylehorner): D&D for me this weekend, and plenty of it! In case you're wondering I'll be playing my 4th Edition Dwarf Warden Rangrimm, who's slightly loose in the head.
  • Lemuel Pew (@lemmo): As it's summertime, the weekend is mostly full of graduation parties, birthday parties, premiere parties, after parties, and after-after parties. But if I sit at a computer to do more than just nap with my nose on the H key, I'll probably fire up Free Realms or City of Heroes. My supergroup is throwing a party in-game. Yay. Another party.
  • Tateru Nino (@taterunino): Free Realms, City of Heroes, working in Second Life, and some Penumbra (Overture/Black Plague/Requiem). If there's still time, I'd like to get a little more Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online in.
  • Tracey John (@TraceyJohn): Following post-E3 craziness, I'll be playing inFAMOUS, sending away my red-ringed Xbox 360 for repair and installing WoW and LotRO on my new operating system. Hours of fun!
  • William Dobson: My MMO time will be spent with Warhammer Online, taking my character into tier 4. If you've been following what I wrote in prior weeks, I was wrong to be worried about tier 3 — there was still plenty of action on my server, provided I logged on at the right time.
