The Queue: Roll out the barrel

Welcome back to The Queue, WoW.com's daily Q&A column where the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

Many of our questions today are related to Patch 3.2 again, but don't take that as an indicator that it's all you can ask of us! We'll field pretty much anything WoW related in The Queue, so don't be intimidated. Just hit the comments and ask away!

Also, I'm going to make all of you listen to the Beer Barrel Polka because it has been haunting me since Polish Fest this past weekend. Augh. Get it out of my head.

Sedawk asked...

"Will there be more things to buy for Champion's Marks? Or should I go ahead and buy that hippogryph?"

Yes, the new Argent Tournament bits in Patch 3.2 will include additional items available for purchase with Champion's Marks. A few of the items we know about are the new heirlooms and the new Argent Squire which will act as a Mailbox/Bank/Whatever once every few hours. From what I got out of the wording of the Patch 3.2 PTR patch notes, you will need the Crusader title to access some of these new items, so make sure you have that.

A lot of us here at WoW.com are very interested in what the Tournament has to offer, so you can be sure that we'll be checking it out as soon as the PTR is up and available.

kooda asked...

"What are some good Shaman websites (apart from Totem Talk)?"

That depends on what you're looking for. Specific specs? General casters, or general melee? General healers? I'll rattle off a few I check fairly frequently...

  • Shields Up! is a Resto Shaman blog, though the information it has can be useful for all Shaman. They're also on vacation until the end of July, sadly.

  • World of Matticus has a great Shaman blogger.

  • Big Hit Box is a Melee blog, with some info very useful to Enhancement Shaman.

Most of the other Shaman blogs I used to read have stopped updating, so there's something of a shortage there right now. I have a massive RSS Reader, and Shaman are probably the least represented there these days, and I wish that were not so! If any of you readers have other suggestions, feel free to mention them in the comments below.

Vinicius O. E. asked...

"If we are getting tier 9 on patch 3.2 then what are we getting on patch 3.3 when we finally face Arthas? Tier 10? We have 3 tiers in vanilla WoW and 3 tiers in BC so is Blizzard giving us 4 tiers in WotLK?"

Patch 3.3 will probably be Tier 10, yes. We've never seen four tiers of gear in one expansion before, but note how raid progression is pretty different in Wrath compared to The Burning Crusade. In The Burning Crusade, Tempest Keep and Serpentshrine Cavern were two separate raid instances but shared a tier for gear. Wrath of the Lich King has been more linear than that. If those two raids were in Wrath, SSC and TK would be on different tiers of gear and difficulty.

Xonate asked...

"Okay, I've been looking around on the site for a while now and I can't find it. How would one get in touch with some of the writers here at WoW.com? Or, if you want me to be more specific, how can I start throwing things at Matthew Rossi. Non-hurty things."

That was answered a few days ago!
