WRUP: Happy holiday weekend!

To those of you in the US, happy 4th of July! To those of you elsewhere, also, we at Massively wish you a happy 4th of July! For a lot of us, the 4th is a time to celebrate the birth of our nation by blowing up a small part of it. So to those of you celebrating this weekend — and those of you who aren't — stay safe and if you really must blow anything up, we recommend doing it in the virtual sense.

So what's the Massively team playing over the weeekend?

• Brendan Drain: I'll be playing mostly EVE Online this weekend. After finding a way back into our class 5 wormhole home, a corpmate of mine (hi Retalus!) struck paydirt today. Our daily class 3 wormhole has opened into a system with 7 harvestable gas cloud sites, making an impressive 45 million isk per hour for each of us harvesting. He then went on to find us some of the rarer gases to mine, which are worth even more. In addition, three new asteroid belts with massive arkanor and bistot asteroids in them have spawned in our home system. So I'm setting up for a relaxing weekend of high-profit gas and ore mining while writing and read a good book.
• Colin Brennan (@sera_brennan): There's more force to be had in Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game this weekend. Beyond that, I think it's time for my monk to hit level 10 in Final Fantasy XI and I think it's time that finished getting more heavy achievements in Team Fortress 2.
• Krystalle Voecks (@Krystalle): Today is the 6th anniversary with my other half who is so awesome as to tolerate my being an MMO-fiend. As such, I'll probably spend most of my time offline with our friends and family this weekend for the sake of faction. If I do squeeze in some gaming, I expect it'll be logging more time into Neo Steam, Dragonica Online, or perhaps a quick bit of mission running in EVE to see if I can score some more tasty salvage and wish my corpmates happy blow-stuff-up day.
• Kyle Horner (@KyleHorner): It's Aion and FFXI for me this weekend. I've already ascended my Asmodian Mage- er, Sorcerer so maybe I'll check out a different class on the Elyos side. In FFXI, I'll be attempting my subjob quest — wish me luck!
• Lemuel Pew (@lemmo): I'll be checking out the summertime goodies on Free Realms, and trying some of Issue 15 on for size in City of Heroes. Dust off my blaster and try the new task force.
• Lesley Smith (@lesleysmith): I'm going to be exploring more of Aion, playing my new Tauren Shaman and looking for my reading glasses. I think @ceridwenthecat ate them.
• Tateru Nino (@taterunino): Planning a big catch-up weekend. A big pile of statistical data to process through, punctuated by City of Heroes, with some Dark Messiah of Might and Magic and a little Freedom Force to recharge the batteries.
• Tracey John (@TraceyJohn): This weekend I'll be BBQing, helping a friend level in WoW and smashing everything I see in Red Faction: Guerrilla.
• William Dobson: My weekend will be spent trying to beat a nasty cold, as well as finishing three assignments that are all due next week. Oh, and attending a wedding. Bring it on!
