WRUP: Catfight edition
I'm just going to let Alex and Matt kick off this week's edition of WRUP with some notes on their plans for the weekend:
Alex: Using every tool at my disposal to thwart Rossi's attempts at world liberation, so I may continue to hold it in my iron grip.
Matt: Your simian shocktroopers can't stop me, Ziebart, any more than your Aerobots did!
Alex: Just you wait, Rossi. My cyborgephants hunger... for blood.
Matt: Ah, but you've forgotten, haven't you? When you sealed me in the ancient Mines of Musculus all those months ago, you thought I was doomed. But you didn't count on the inhabitants of those dank and deep pits, who blame you for their long imprisonment deep below the surface. Luckily for me, I had some Harvati in my trail rations, and so, I can call upon the MICEMEN OF MU!
Alex: Damn you, Rossi. Damn your eyes and all the beautiful stars within their depths! This isn't over! This isn't over.
Oh, boys, boys, you'll never settle this argument with threats of violence. That's what actual violence is for. And that said, let's talk about what the WoW.com team is playing this weekend.
Adam Holisky (@adamholisky): Gearing up my hunter.
Alex Ziebart (@aziebart): Also, leveling my rogue.
Chase Christian (@madsushi): A ton of players are out this week in my guild, so we'll be putting together some alt/pug runs. My hope is to get my newly 80 priest battle-ready over the weekend.
Daniel Whitcomb (@danielwhitcomb): I still haven't managed to down Onyxia 25 this week, so I may see if I can scrounge together a group for that. Of course, I'll keeping hitting up the heroic dailies. I definitely want to finish the achievement now, but the Ingvar quest eludes me. Also, I've dedicated myself to maxing engineering, so I'll be farming a whole mess of cobalt and saronite to push that up, hopefully follow by some machine farming for a Jeeves schematic.
Dominic Hobbs (@DMZduffry): I'm away this weekend for a wedding reception, visiting some family and guildmates as well as seeing An Evening with Kevin Smith. Four days without a single cast of Corruption. It's not right I tell you!
Eddie Carrington (@brigwyn): Will be checking out how the different specs perform on the PTR. And trying to win an epic loot card from my GM by hitting 80 before he does.
Elizabeth Wachowski (@leeatwaterlives): I'll probably spend today reading the new Terry Pratchett book and hit up some Morrowind tonight. Tomorrow night I'll be fighting through street gangs, narcotic dealers, and dudes with machetes to rescue civilians in an epic battle that I like to call "working on a Saturday night in Durham." Then I will sleep. Or play more Morrowind.
Gregg Reece: Running the Argent Ren Faire. Otherwise, trying to get caught up on my writing.
Lisa Poisso (@emused): Forming up into a new 10-man team with a new spec, regemming, regearing...
Matthew Rossi (@MatthewWRossi): I'll be liberating the world from an ancient evil buried in a long lost city built by entities not native to the world. After I get done doing that I might play some WoW. I need to farm up some badges.
Michael Gray (@writegray): Doctor.
Robin Torres (@cosmiclaurel): I will be resisting the urge to lead a mob armed with pitchforks and torches to attack my bank and will instead be finally leveling Freja the drood to 80. Some Champions Online may also take place as well as some physical playing of LIfe, Uno, and Go Fish.
Zach Yonzon (@battlemasters): Turns out Manila dodged a super typhoon, but the weekend's full of loss, anyway, as my brother's father-in-law succumbed to a heart attack. He was very dear to us. So my Azeroth time will be limited this weekend, as I'm attending my brother-in-law's graduation, a family friend's wedding, and a funeral. I guess that means I'm playing... a more somber version of myself.
And now it's your turn, dearest readers. Tell us, what are you playing this weekend?
