The Queue: Image unrelated

Yep. The title says it all. If you hoped, even for a moment, that the image on today's edition of The Queue at all reflected the content within, you're in for disappointment. Also, therapy of some sort.

"I have the mobile authenticator on my iPhone, but I need to send it in for repairs. Can I buy the regular authenticator and use that while my phone is gone?"
The short answer is yes, you can, but make sure you remove the mobile authenticator from your account before you send it off, then add the physical authenticator to your account. If you just send off your phone without doing that, you'll be locked out of your account and need to run circles with Blizzard's support/billing department.
The long answer is yes, and follow these exact instructions from Spazmoose. He says:
Purchase the new authenticator and wait for it to arrive.
Once it arrives, remove the iPhone authenticator from your account.
Add the physical authenticator to your account.
Remove the authenticator from your iPhone.
Send in your iPhone.
Actually, I think my short answer was longer than the long answer. I didn't do that right.

"Are the Fate Runes (obtained from the Bone Witch) able to be used in the Icecrown dungeons/raid currently?"
When I tried one I randomly had in my bags in the 5-man instance, no, it didn't work. I suspect it will remain that way, considering the various things you can pick up in Storm Peaks can't be used in Ulduar. Blizzard has also tried to minimize how much time you spend grinding outside of a raid in Wrath of the Lich King. Potion limitations, elixir limitations, no random consumables you can get via Herbalism or whatever else. I don't think Blizzard would push you to grind out Vrykul Bones in between every raid.

"On the walls in ToC, there are 2 Horde emblems on the Horde side, and 2 Alliance emblems on the Alliance side, which makes sense. But, if you look on the left hand side of the Alliance emblem, you will see 12 hash marks on it, like they were counting kills or something along those lines... any idea what these 12 hash marks actually stand for?"
It's just a generic kill tally. The Alliance emblem is the level 60 PvP shield, the Grand Marshal's Aegis, scaled up to be a wall decoration. The hash marks are just part of the design, the Grand Marshal etching his kills into the most notable part of his equipment.

"What music, if any, does the WoW.com team listen to while raiding?"
I can't speak for the entire team, but I personally listen to something instrumental. Soothing. Right now my playlist consists of select tracks from Mass Effect, because I just played through the game again and I'm sort of addicted to the universe for the moment. Calming, instrumental stuff keeps my nerves cool and doesn't interfere with listening to Ventrilo and battle cues and all of that sort of thing. Listening to metal (or J-Pop if you're in that sort of mood) makes listening to the finer details of raiding pretty difficult.
