WRUP: Fresh guts roasting on an open fire

Once again, the weekend is here. Perfect for relaxing over a cheery... zombie fire? It appears that most of the team here at Massively are splitting time between their regularly scheduled MMOs and the slew of new titles that have come out recently. With great titles like Torchlight, Dragon Age Origins, and the tasty Left 4 Dead 2 demo, can you blame us? Rest assured we're still getting our full helping of MMOs in the mix so we can grow up big and strong. If you're curious just who is up to what this weekend, join us behind the break for a little WRUP – and be sure to leave your own list in the comments!

Krystalle Voecks (@Krystalle): The weather here is amazingly beautiful, so I'm expecting to be spending some time outdoors. What time I'll have for gaming will be split between Fallen Earth and Earth Eternal, as I'm working on some posts for both. Well — that and they're just fun to play! If I manage to get some non-MMO time in this weekend, I'll be checking out the Left 4 Dead 2 demo on Live.

Tracey John (@TraceyJohn): Attending the Super Mario Bros. Wii launch event in NYC. Playing Left 4 Dead 2 for review. Hope there's time for other stuff, namely Torchlight, Borderlands (still), Aion and maybe sleep. But as a great man once said, "Sleep is for babies. Gamers play all night."

Kyle Horner (@kylehorner): I'll probably be busy with Dragon Age and Modern Warfare 2 this weekend, with maybe some time for Torchlight... though I also need to write, write, write. Hmm, maybe I'll end up jumping into Champions Online for a little while, although I see myself doing that more in December for the holiday events.

Brendan Drain
(@Nyphur): I'm really getting back into EverQuest II lately. My Bruiser has just hit level 68 and I've been checking out the Kylong Plains. I don't plan to play much EVE Online this weekend but I've been eagerly following the latest devblogs on the Dominion expansion mechanics. I have to admit that for the most part it looks pretty solid.

Rubi Bayer (@Rubi_): I'm keeping a close eye on Guild Wars this weekend — surely that final Halloween quest will become active soon, right? Right? For now, it's just sitting in my quest log, mocking me while I look at it and think about how cool it would be if Dhuum popped up in Temple of the Ages and started swinging his scythe around. While I wait for that to happen, I'll be trying to find time for more Lord of the Rings Online and some Dungeons and Dragons Online, and checking out the [super-secret] beta. Big plans, let's see how much of them I will be able to find time for!

James Egan (@jamesegan): Friday night gaming meet-up at my friend's place. Cuban cigars (don't ask how) and Jim Beam/Coke will be standard issue. Lots of Halo 3 multi-player, ODST and more of the Left 4 Dead 2 demo. Hitting a Tank with Boomer Bile is so gratifying. I'd still like to try it on another Boomer.

MMO-wise it's just EVE Online for me. I'm in wormhole space and waiting to see if any "opportunities" open up regarding a certain corp I've been observing in a cloaked Pilgrim. On the PvE side of the game I'm getting low on ISK and might log in for a few Level 4's with my main for some quick funds, also I've been meaning to talk with the player behind the Help My Mission channel for Massively.

Eliot Lefebvre: Still deciding on whether or not I want to resubscribe to City of Heroes, since I've been digging on superheroes recently. Also a bit of playtime in World of Warcraft to prep for the upcoming Thanksgiving event. It promises to be a pretty quiet weekend.

Sera Brennnan (@sera_brennan): This weekend is dedicated to Modern Warfare 2, Champions Online, and, if I get any time whatsoever, Aion. But, I doubt I'm going to make it to the last one.
