Bizet's "Carmen" sets record viewer mark for The Met: Live in HD
Still growing in its fourth season, The Metropolitan Opera is reporting a record high number of viewers for its live telecast of Carmen last Saturday. 240,000 worldwide sat in movie theaters for the high definition broadcast, with numbers expected to grow to 320,000 in tape delayed versions.
