WRUP: Gee-Dee-See you at PAX East edition
March is packed! Great game releases, with plenty of industry announcements and kerfuffles going on. With that said, if you missed any of our Game Developers Conference 2010 coverage this week, be sure to check it out — a lot happened. We'll also be adding some more GDC coverage over the weekend. Once that's put to bed, we have about two weeks and then it's on to PAX East, the inaugural edition of the consumer conference.
We have plenty planned for PAX East, including the Blueberry Muffin Top breakfast and live Joystiq podcast recording. With half our staff just "hanging out" for once, we'll be looking for cool stuff to do just like everyone else. Be sure to follow our Twitters (noted after the break), we'll be sure to note if cool stuff is going on.

- Andrew Yoon (@scxzor): Griffin, sorry for staring at your ass all day yesterday, but I want one of those two Pokémon you've been storing in your cheeks. I WILL CATCH 'EM ALL.
- Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): In between bouts of serious pouting over "down for maintenance" Bad Company 2 servers this weekend, I'll be playing more Civ IV and hopefully hopping back in on Mass Effect 2. That is, if I don't make a horrible mistake and go rent Final Fantasy XIII (a rather unlikely scenario, but a possible one nonetheless).
- Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): Knee-deep in GDC, it's portable games for me. Finally finishing the first Phoenix Wright ... this final chapter is wearing on me though!
- David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): I'm largely going to be playing the "move my office to another room in the house" game, though I'm sure I'll find time to slack and play some Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Final Fantasy XIII. Also, I may dig into the N64, since I've got that out of the attic to clean it up and get my nostalgia on.

- Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): I've been playing Desktop Dungeons which led me back to its inspiration, Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, both brilliant (and free) roguelikes. I've also been playing Homerun Battle 3D on my iPhone (recommended to me by the producer of Street Fighter IV for iPhone), and trying to beat Clash of Heroes on the DSi here at GDC.
- Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin) Last night's GDCA winner for best debut game was Torchlight. It's probably going to win the award for Game Most Played By Randy This Weekend. Plus, I've discovered a few cool new iPhone games I'm itching to try. Lilt Line already has me hooked.
- Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM): I'm out in San Fran for GDC, so I just wrapped up reading Steve Martin's "Born Standing Up." Great read. On the gaming front, it's just Yoshi's Island.
- Xav de Matos (@Xav): Just powered through the first God of War in the PS3 Collection and moving on to God of War II. I'm also trying to get past the first few hours of Final Fantasy XIII in search of "the fun." I'm sure it's there! I just need to really look for it.
