NintendoWare Weekly: WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase, Ogre Battle 64, Metronome
WarioWare D.I.Y. isn't the only new WarioWare out this week. Well, it sort of is, because WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase is basically an extension of the DS game, but Showcase also has a load of new microgames on its own.

Joining Showcase on the Wii is, believe it or not, a Nintendo 64 game on Virtual Console! And on DSiWare ... a metronome and an instrument tuner? See the full list after the break.
  • WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase (Nintendo, 1-4 players, 800 Wii Points): If you've got WarioWare D.I.Y. on DS, this allows you to play your microgames (and view comics and listen to music) on the big screen, with friends! If you don't have the DS game, this still includes 72 minigames and the capacity to download more!
  • Diner Dash (Hudson, 1-4 players, 1,000 Wii Points): Manage a restaurant in this popular casual game. Arrange patrons in seats, feed them, take their money, and get the tables ready again as quickly as you can to build a successful restaurant. Features online play!
  • Grill-Off with Ultrahand (available March 31 through Club Nintendo) (Nintendo, 1-2 players, 80 Club Nintendo Coins)
Virtual Console
  • Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber (Nintendo 64, 1 player, 1,000 Wii Points): Yes, there were RPGs released on the Nintendo 64. A few. This one, of course, is part of a beloved tactical RPG series created by Yasumi Matsuno.
  • Disney Fireworks (Disney Interactive Studios, 1 player, 800 DSi Points): Use your stylus to shoot fireworks in the air, and time them correctly to fill a combo meter. Visions of Fantavision?
  • Save the Turtles (Sabarasa, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): In this puzzle game, you dig through beaches around the world to find baby turtles so you can send them back to the sea.
  • Nintendo DSi Metronome (Nintendo, 1 player, 200 DSi Points): Yes, it's pretty much just a metronome. But it's got a Game & Watch skin and a Donkey Kong rhythm minigame in which you make Mario jump over barrels!
  • Nintendo DSi Instrument Tuner (Nintendo, 1 player, 200 DSi Points): You can use your DSi to tune your guitar (or other instrument) either by playing into the mic or using the software to play tones for you to match. It also features a musical Balloon Fight minigame!
  • Super Yum Yum Puzzle Adventures (Mastertronic, 1 player, 800 DSi Points): A chameleon named Leon navigates mazes using his tongue as a grappling hook, pulling himself from fruit to fruit. Yum yum!
