One Shots: Sunsets make everything better
While Lord of the Rings Online offers players the chance to interact with one of the most engaging fantasy storylines ever written, there are still so many others who like to tell their own stories in Middle-earth. Some simply role-play as they wander the world, while others may stick with writing fanciful stories in their head when quietly doing their own thing. Whichever of the two today's One Shots contributor Barmley falls into, he caught a great screenshot — and has a tale to tell about it.
"A swell day of package running and slug-squashing ends in heartbreak when our adventurer slips off an old Rushock Boggian bridge and gets all the mail wet... Exhausted and defeated, Barmley makes the trek east to his favorite overlook and soaks in the Shire sunset." Perhaps a Lord of the Rings Online role-player will buy him a drink at the tavern to comfort his broken (if a bit soggy) heart.
If you like to write tales about your character, or about the MMO lands you inhabit, we'd love to hear about them. Snap a screenshot that fits the short tale you'd like to tell, and email it to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name and the name of the game. You never know — yours could be one of the next ones featured here on Massively!
