Snowjob asks: We hear plenty that games "have to be changed for the Chinese market." But I'd like a few more examples, and based on what he said about even just death and health mechanics relating to play style, a lot must have changed.
Like I mentioned before, we completely changed the key bindings including WASD movement. Before our version, it was only click to move. We asked the developers to change this and their response was "I don't know why we're doing this, but we will do it." The different mentality in gameplay of US vs. China is amazing.
With Soul Gear, it used to be where you would get a chance to drop an item, untradeable, so players were stuck with gears not of their level, and no use. We spoke to the development team and got it changed so it could be changed. Which, in turn, Soul Gear is now a driving force in BoI economy.
From Anker: The ZEN market is going down, especially on "Aquarius" server where 100 zen equals 120,000 coins now. Are you planning to do anything about it?
The ZEN market prices are driven directly by the players. We don't have any control over that. If we were to impose a limit to the on ZEN prices, then when inflation occurs, nobody would want to purchase the ZEN.
From Xodi[Bandits]: When do you have plans to release level 100+ skills and content for our version seeing as a lot of people are drawing closer to those levels as of now?"
Hi Xodi. We have some updates coming up in a few months that will address that very issue! Not only will there be new skills at 100, but some exisiting skills we be re-vamped as well.
Schal asks: For the next skills we get are we going to have an increase in skill slots? Mine are full at the moment, and it's going to be hard.
That is definitely something we will be addressing at the same time. We're also in the process of re-vamping the UI. So look for both of those in the near future.
Delushunz asks: Vahalla rep stops at 30,000, is there going to be a fix so we can achieve admired and get the feather relic?
We are working on raising the limit in a future update. It's something on the dev team's "to do" list.
MadZool asks: Are there going to be any improvements made to the crafting system which would allow us to craft rings, necklaces, or orange armor? As currently only alchemy is useful.
Yeah we realize that the crafting is somewhat limited to Alchemy. We'll be working with the development team to revamp the crafting system down the line.
JSHC[123] asks: Any updates on the event "Zodiac Gauntlet" that was announced a while ago? And are there any thoughts about having multiple instances for soul gear? I.E., having more than one for each soul gear set.
Great timing on that question! We actually just got word on our development team that they are close to finishing the Zodiac boss fight and will be in our hands soon. When that happens, our excellent QA team will work their magic and then hopefully deliver you guys an exciting experience.
The idea about multiple instances with the same level of Soul Gear as a reward has not been mentioned yet, but that is something we'll definitely bring up in our discussion with the dev team.
Last but not least, Delushunz asks: Are we going to be able to buy extra inventory and storage pages?
Hahaha! I'm guessing you're a pack rat like me and never sell anything. We have no plans to do that at the moment, but again its something I'll bring up to our dev team after this.
