Dungeons and Dragons Online VIP members to receive double Turbine Points

Turbine is sweetening the deal for Dungeons and Dragons Online VIP members through its Summer Gift promotion. VIP members — those who pay a monthly subscription fee — receive 500 Turbine Points a month as part of their subscription package.

From now until August 10th, VIP members will receive double that amount each month as long as they maintain their account status. DDO players who are not currently VIPs can still participate in part of the offer if they subscribe. There are a few restrictions, so it's important to note the disclaimer at the end of the announcement: "VIPs who have already received their free Turbine Points in June as of June 11th, will not receive the double points bonus until July. VIPs who activate their subscription after July 11th but before midnight August 10th, 2010 will receive one month of bonus points."
